I have a new Galaxy S10+. When I call up a photo and click the pencil I get the following message: "to use this feature, you need to allow permissions in settings." There is the word "settings" in blue next to the message but clicking on it doesn't do anything. I've gone into permissions and given gallery everything there is to give including phone (?) Still can't access the photo editor. Any ideas?

Well done~

Thanks for your keyword 'Photo Editor', I used this keyword to search on my phone then I saw it and change the permissions of Photo Editor - Allow the Storage. You should have used this keyword instead Gallary.

Thank you so very much I made a mistake and reset my permissions as I thought it was for only one app it was for all of them. I have been racking my brain for 2 days trying to get it back to this setting.

THANK YOU

Ok, I've been having this issue myself lately.  I read this post and finally figured it out.  Photo Editor does not show up in my "Apps" in settings, which confused me.  So I backed back out into just "Settings" then searched for Photo Editor and it appeared.  I went in and added permissions it wanted, and it works now.
