I use my device to listen to music and podcasts while working. Since the side buttons are FULLY FUNCTIONAL while in my pocket my phone is constantly doing things in my pocket. It turns my volume to full blast, turns my volume to minimum, wakes and sleeps my screen, activates assistant, and today powered off my phone! This is infuriating and causes undesired battery drain. Due to Samsungs neglegance we cannot disable the assistant settings for the side button and we cannot set the phone to ignore these inputs while the device is in pockets. SAMSUNG PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!

If its doing all that its also getting help from you as well. Because to power off theres a few ways. But they all involve human interaction to complete. Now the volume button and wake sleep in pocket. Get a case. Buttons wont randomly be pressed. Or........ remove the items u put in the pocket with ur phone.

My phone was in my pocket while I was listening to a podcast. I crouched while sweeping and my podcast stopped. Took my phone out of my pocket and it was fully powered off. I didn't interact with it other than the buttons getting pushed in my pocket. My phone is in a Mous case. Doesn't help. My phone is never put in a pocket with anything else. It's always alone.

You can also turn off your assistant as well. And u can reprogram what the side buttons do as well.

The only options to reprogram the side buttons are for: Bixby, Gemini, or the power menu. I want to set it so when my power button is pushed with the phone locked it only wakes the screen and accidental touch protection prevents any other interactions. That is not the case.
