Galaxy S Phones@LunaticWrench It's still there for me. Try this:
- Open the calendar app
- Click on the + sign to create an event.
- Click on the bell icon (alert)
- Make sure that this is enabled and you will find "Custom" under the predefined items.

Galaxy S Phones@LunaticWrench Works that way on my Fold 4 Android 13 UI 5.
What device are you using?
Can you provide some screenshots?

Galaxy S PhonesI never have problems with it until they do an update and then something always goes sideways or gets turned off/on like moving all of my appointments to another location.
I used to have the custom time at the bottom of this window in the Samsung calander

Galaxy S PhonesI presume you are talking about the Samsung Calendar app? I switched to the Google Calendar app and like it MUCH better. That can have multiple alerts. So I can have an alert an hour in advance and then another just 15 minutes before. (In case I ignored the first one or didn't hear it).
One of the cute things it does that I like is that some events have special backgrounds showing in schedule (agenda) mode. So my buddy and I shoot pool every Thursday. For that event, it shows a cute pool table in the background. A birthday might have a cake and candles. A coffee get together would have some coffee cups, etc.
The background depends on the words in the event. The word "billiard" for instance is the cue for that. There is a list on the web of hundreds of special events.
There are many other features that Google Calendar has. I don't like using things from Google, but I use their Calendar. The only thing I miss is a feature that I used to have on my Windows Phone. On the Windows Phone, Cortana would look at when the event was and would check traffic and automatically warn you if you need to leave earlier than usual to get to the event in time. I miss Cortana in its early days. It was a very good assistant. And I miss the phone its camera was great and it had a replaceable battery that you could replace in about 5 minutes.

Galaxy S PhonesThey change stuff everytime they do an update and I don't pay much attention to that stuff once I get a new phone set up.
That's how mine used to be. Just last week I could have my default 30 min alert and or a 2nd alert of my choosing.
