Retrieve deleted text thread?

Anyone know if you can retrieve a deleted text thread?  Thought I was just deleting a text draft I no longer needed and the whole thread was gone.

Got to setting>battery and device care>storage> scroll down until you see trash. All you deleted stuff should be there from the past 30 days
