S10 Blurry Pictures

I've had the phone for about a week and the pictures are horrible. Always not focused and blurry and even cartoonish from being smooth. I have reset the camera, cleared the cache, updated all my apps. The only thing I haven't done is factory reset. I've also tried changing the settings on the camera and nothing helps. And when I upload to IG the photo quality is even worse. Any advice?

Actually, I found a solution for this, not the best option, but it did work for me. I downloaded the Google Pixel .apk and took pics with it. Much better, more details. Supposed to identify if an app is messing with the camera. For me it did not work. Just make sure all your apps are updated. When I called after being on hold forever they told me that some apps can interfere with the camera app.

That didn't work.. I cleared cache for both camera and phone. Updated all apps. Took off scene enhancer. Reset the camera. Factory reset. Took it to the Samsung Store. Nothing worked. All I got was to return it and lose my promos.

I have the same issue. Just use another camera app.  Google Camera ( easy to install via the apk) you can use VSCO or  Cymera.  😉@claralon

5/31/2019 and photos are smooth and detail is lacking in the S10 Camera.  First off the night photos look great on the screen, but when you open up the file on a computer it's poor details.  S9 camera was substantially better overall with detail.  The ultra wide setting for photos also causes photos to be smooth.  Using the panoramic photo creates too much of a bubble effect.  I would say overall Samsung failed on the camera for me

If clearing the cache did not help your symptom I would recommend a factory reset. Alternatively, you can have your device evaluated by a certified technician.
