*update*

Called up customer services as directed. Very helpful. Took it to my nearest samsung fix store (Surrey Quays) and they fixed it in a matter of hours. On the downside... this meant a factory reset. On the good side...a working phone

My phone appeared t be working fine, then on a phone call, it started to flash weird colours. It is now black, then when the power button is hit it turns dark brown, then black again. when power button is hit again, it flashes a very bright pale screen then marron then black again. All other buttons are unresponsive.

The phone rings when called, but there is no way to answer the call. Help please.

We've had hot weather recently and I've noticed the phone has been getting extremely hot.

@userIiqCbTz0gZ I certainly understand your frustration regarding this. I would recommend visiting a UBreakIFix location in your area for an authorized technician to take a better look at your device. Just click on this link here --> https://www.samsung.com/us/support/ubreakifix

You need to contact the customer support of Samsung in order to get a new device, you can't really do anything with a damaged display

I'm in the exact same situation !
I figured that sometimes after trying repeatedly (like, over 20 times) to lock/unlock, it might start working just fine for a while.
Being located in norther europe (Finland), where can I find help with this ? @SamsungJoJo

Does anyone know what the exact fix is for this? I recently had this problem as well with my S10. I was on my phone then, all the sudden, it starting flashing bright colors and then shut off. Forced restarts and factory resources do not appear to work. The screen is not dead but is is unresponsive. When I hit the power button it shows only a red/maroon color or flashes of white and black. Interestingly, when my phone is plugged in, the charging screen sometimes shows up although the screen remains unresponsive and the charging screen looks green and grainier than normal.

My phone was 2 weeks past the warrenty period when this happened. The phone has some minor wear but it is now a brick. I live within 1 - 1.5 hours of some of the samsung approved fix locations but would like to better understand the cost and effort to fix this before making that trek. Certainly frustrated that my 1 year old phone is now unusable.

The exact same thing happened to my S10 plus today morning! Really frustrating. I have a fair amount of data on it that I do not want to lose so I'm exploring whether I can access Recovery mode on the device and then execute a few options on there before rebooting such as deleting cache etc... I can then see if any of those options let the phone boot correctly.

First, I need to  be able to switch off the phone before I can try to access Recovery mode, which is proving tricky without a responsive screen. So, I will let the battery die on the phone and then see what I can do.

Will post on here if I have any success. Let me know if you find any alternative ways to get round this as I'm struggling. I have an appointment booked with an official engineer late next week to see if he/she can help at all.
