My S10 was factory reset and sat unused for a few weeks, when setting it back up I noticed there's no notification tones or system sounds.
First noticed with facebook messenger it would vibrate but no sound then I noticed there was no tones working. When I go to the list to select a notification tone, it doesn't play, its silent. Ring tone and alarm clock is OK.
I did all the basics, all the usual settings, safe mode, clearing cache etc... now factory reset again with no apps installed still no notification tones.
I cant see this being a hardware fault, the ring tones, media, alarms, calls etc.. All work so it is clearly capable of making sound. Latest software updat was 1st of May, could this be a software problem with the update?
