Anyone have any idea why my S10 stopped receiving clear images in the messaging app? The pictures I send to others stay clear, but any that I receive show up grainy and poor quality even though they look fine to the sender. My mom had an S10 as well, and is also experiencing this.

FYI. I received an update earlier this week that seems to have solved this issue.  Be on the lookout for it.

Mine is an unlocked S10 on Verizon, too. I haven't found any way to fix it, so hopefully the next update will take care of it. So incredibly frustrating.

it happens to all pictures, regardless of the sender's phone. even pictures sent to me from my mom's S10. 😞

same issues here after update. also video files are coming through as an image and audio file. not good when customers send me videos. resetting settings did not work and caused more issues with other apps that were working fine before the reset. unlocked s10 on Verizon

Yes! The video thing happened to me, too. And all resetting did was frustrate me more because I can't remember how I had everything set up before. 🥴
