The s10+ lacks the digitizer layer under the screen for the s-pen to work. Even if it did, it won't work with one phone to another.

Half true. The tech between an S22 Ultra's S Pen and the Note 20 Ultra are the same and interchangeable. Even the S Pen for a tablet will work across S21 Ultra, S22 Ultra, and the Note 20 Ultra.
