S6 Edge+ Messages and MultiView

JUMP TO SOLUTION

Couldn't find a previous thread on this.  Sorry if repeat.

I can't adjust my bubbles and backgrounds / Messages prefs.

When I go in to Messages and and tap the lower left key it goes to recent apps and if I hold it goes to splitview.

I never get the "More" options to set Messages preferences.

Looked all over to disable Splitview.  Found an app. to toggle multiscreen off but it doesn't go in to Messages prefs.

Can anybody help me out?

JUMP TO SOLUTION

Resolved with Samsung tech chat....

The new update does not allow to change bubble features - just the background.

And what was showing up on my "theme" app had not been updated after the device updated.

Resolution:  Reset all apps to default  -  reset theme to default  -  update all themes.

In new version users can only change the background of Messages.

The bubbles are automatic.

Better than having quick response bubbles being bright yellow with white font - unreadable.

From the messages app main screen on the top right do you see the more menu?

No.  All I have is Search and the drop down...

When I drop down it has settings and more "other" setups, but not the bubbles options, color chat settings etc
