S7 Notification Frequency

How do I adjust to the notificaiton frequecy on my Galaxy S7? I currently receive notifications every minute until I look at what the notificaiton is for. This is very annoying. For example, I receive a text message, my phone will play the notification sound once a minute until I actually turn on the phone and look at the text message. This happens for everything that I have notifcations turned on. The only way I can stop these annoying notifications is to silence the phone or turn all notification off. My S5 would only play one notification sound when I initially got a notification, that is what I want.

Go to settings, accessibility and turn off Notification Reminder. Then you will only get notified once.
