My hibernating apps are draining my battery and making my phone too hot. How do I turn off hibernating apps? And, is there a downside to doing it? Thank you in advance.

I use most of them, but I will uninstall the ones that I rarely use. Thanks for the tip.

Yes, if you don't use them much you should Uninstal. It will make a big difference.

I do use them but, I will try uninstalling the ones I can live without and see if that helps.

If you're referring to the recent apps menu, try locking the ones you want to keep readily available and running (click the app icon at the top of each in the recent apps menu then "Lock this app"). You can then use Close All to close all of the unlocked apps, and can still close locked apps individually by swiping.
