Galaxy S PhonesI have plenty of space on the phone, but the video stops recording automatically after a short period of time.
I've cleared the cache and done a hard reset. It hasn't helped.

Galaxy S PhonesHi, I've tried all resolutions and get the same issue (all differing and inconsistent times)
I just applied the latest software update too. It said it had camera improvements and I really hoped it would fix it...but it didn't

Galaxy S PhonesCould be a SD card issue? Are you recording internally or directly to SD card? Some SD cards don't keep up well with the read/write speeds needed for video recording. If you're having problems recording to internal storage, try setting the camera to record to SD card to find out if the problem still occurs.

Galaxy S PhonesHi there, I don't have an SD card... So, not sure if that's the issue.
I'd hope it could record to internal memory ok?

Galaxy S PhonesThe problem still continues.
It also happened in a 3rd party app.
I am considering selling this phone, as it's just so annoying that I cannot fix this.

Galaxy S PhonesHave you tried wiping the cache partition on your device? Also, have you tried recording video with your device in safe mode?

Galaxy S PhonesHi, I've just tried safe mode. All seems fine. Does that mean it's an app issue?
I haven't done the cache partition. I'll look up how to do that, thank you.

Galaxy S PhonesI've cleared the cache partition also.
First video lasted 1min 20secs before automatically ending. Second try lasted 45 seconds π
So, only safe mode has worked so far.

Galaxy S PhonesYes, if the camera works while your device is in safe mode then it would be a third party app causing the symptoms you are experiencing.

Galaxy S PhonesHmmmmm. I'm at a loss. I've uninstalled all non-essential apps. Definitely all that use the camera or video. But still it's happening.
