Samsung Pass problems

I have a Galaxy S9 plus, and 10 days ago I set up Samsung Pass. It's driving me crazy because it asks for my passcode every two minutes when I'm using my phone. Look at a text? Go through Samsung Pass. Immediately try to make a call after looking at a text? Got to do the Samsung pass thing again. Google something? Got to go through Pass again. Try to Google while on a call? Still have to go through Pass. I want to get rid of it altogether but no matter what I do, I still get asked for my pass code for everything.

I followed the directions and deleted the data for Pass and deleted my fingerprint, but I still get asked for the pass code every time I use the phone. My husband is beginning to wonder if I'm seeing someone else because I can't do anything without entering my pass code first. Please help.

Re: Samsung Pass problems

Hello,

Let's try wiping the system cache partition to see if that helps any.

  1. Turn off the device.
  2. Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby key, then press and hold the Power key.
  3. When the Android logo displays, release all three keys.
  4. An 'Installing system update' message will show for 30 - 60 seconds before the Android system recovery menu options appear.
  5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
  6. Press the Power key to select.
  7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
  8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
  9. Press the Power key to restart the device.
