My samsung s10 has stopped receiving group messages in the group. Now they come in under the individual contacts. I haven't changed any settings. It's very annoying . Any advice??
What messages app are you using? Samsung messages, android messages, or a third-party one? Check to see if the phone needs an update8in the settings menu>software update. Also check the app info in the Google play store and see if it needs an update?
We had the same problem and found the answer quite by mistake. We deleted the "1" in front of the phone number on our contacts list and group chat works now. Only use the 3- digit area code + 3-digit exchange and the 4-digit number so in other words just the 10 digit phone number
