Hello!
I have an Galaxy S9 that's failing me so I've decided to go back to an S7 which I like a lot more. I placed a 32GB SD card on my S9 and did a backup from within the phone. It notified me I had to have a Samsung account to get my data but I already have one. Also, the bigger questions is...can I place that SD card in the Galaxy S7 and transfer everything seamlessly. I've also read about an app called Smart Switch but that would mean I would have to place the app on both the S9 and S7. How would I do that without service on both phones? Or, do I need service on both phones in order to do this?
Basically I would like to transfer apps, texts and photos off my S9 to the S7. BTW...the charge port is bad on the S9 so I can't transfer through that with a USB cable.
Am I missing anything? I'm trying to make this as seamless as possible
Thank in advance for any comments or suggestions.
