USB tethering only partly working with S10e and Ubuntu

I'm trying to use USB tethering with S10e and my laptop running Ubuntu 22.04. I can enable the USB tethering and when connected I can ping internet addresses from the laptop, so there is some kind of connection. But browsing is not working properly. If any, only parts of the pages is loaded in the browser, so it seems like the connection is bugged. I have an old Galaxy A3 which is working fine with the same setup (SIM card, carrier, cable and laptop), so I am very disappointed that a newer high-end phone like S10e is not working. I can use wifi hotspot without any problems, but I prefer the USB cable because of speed, charging etc.

Is there any way to fix this? Is it a known bug, or is there something wrong with my phone?

Reboot phone
Reboot again to recovery
Wipe cache and repair apps
Insert SIM and test
