Hello everyone,

I recently noticed that I am not unable to use Link Sharing on my S9 Plus. The option to enable permission for storage access is greyed out. I see many people hate this feature but I use it frequently to share photos with iPhone users and via email since the size of the file of photos and videos can be large. I have tried to roll back the update for the app and that did not work so I installed the latest version of the app again and still no change. What could be blocking me from changing the storage permission for this app?

Thank you in advance!

I hate it....I don't even know how I activated it. How do I take it off?

I can see how this feature would be frustrating. I recommend using link to help resolve your issue. (https://www.samsung.com/za/support/mobile-devices/what-is-link-sharing/) If this doesn't work I recommend that you call in and talk to our Smart things department 866-813-2404
