Update and voice messages

Still trying to figure this thing out.

I had ability to send voice message prior to update and now cannot. Maybe I need to change my settings or something. Why is their no over all record feature anyway?

From where were you trying to send voice messages?

Which text app are you using?  Can you send a voice message in other apps such as FB Messenger, another message app, WhatsApp?

Same here. No texts for 5 days

You cannot receive texts or send texts or have the voice message issue?  Please be specific. Also state which message app you use.

I can send texts only. I can not receive them through Google messages or messages through the normal messages. Happened literally after the phone reatarted from the update.

Have you cleared the phone's cache partition?

Have you put in an error report? Reset the network connections? Contacted your carrier to see if there's anything on their end preventing messages from getting through?  Can you temporarily have your peeps text you through FB messenger?
