We have a Galaxy S7, purchased thru and used on Verizon in the US. Son traveling in Sweden has been using it successfully with Verizon Travel Pass. He’s extending his stay and plans to swap the sim card. We have confirmed thru Verizon it is unlocked. Also understand that being unlocked does not ensure it will actually work on a Swedish network.
Anyone have experience/advice about using the Galaxy S7 in Sweden with a Swedish sim card on a Swedish network? Is there a particular Swedish carrier he should choose for greater chance of success? Any other tips? Verizon had no info or advice. Thank you.
