Hello,

i have the problem when the screen is off for at least 1 minute, Gmail Push Notification only come through when the Galaxy S10 is plugged to a charger, otherwise the Notification will sound only after unlocking the screen.

But GMX Email Pushes come through, even not plugged! (WIFI is not sleeping)

This is what i have done:

Batterie Optimization for the Apps disabled

Push Notifications allowed for App, System and Lock Screen

Adaptive battery Off

High Performance ON

Data Saver Off

Background Data Usage allowed

Energy Saver Off.

It seems that the device put Gmail to sleep, although excluded from battery optimization.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Please check that the app hasn't been put to sleep. You can do that by opening the Settings app and going to Battery and Device Care. Sleeping apps can have the notifications delayed.

Hi, in addition Standby for unused App is also deactivated. There are no! Apps listed in Standby.

... Standby for unused App  means  "Background usage limits".

submit an error report on members app > + button > error report

is this only happening with Gmail? then, possibly Google's issue..

Under "Background usage limits" i tried to add the app to the "Apps that go not in Standy" List, but Gmail is not listed in the add list!

Also Forge of Empires is not listed to add for a sleep exclusion, which has the same Push Notification Problem.

How to make the Apps available for adding to the exclusion list?

Thank You

Found that it is only available when the battery optimization is enabled for a App. Unfortunately it has no effect to add the App the exclusion list!

Any Ideas for not using the charger plugged to get Push Notifications?
