Just found out about this. I tend to hold on to my smart phones for a long time. I currently have the S9+ in excellent condition. I love this phone. Had it for about 4 years. Android could do no wrong.
Prior to this phone, I owned Apple Iphones. Now I find out that my phone did not get a security software update since March 2022. I am forced to buy a new phone. And, get this, Samsung is now offering 4 years of security updates for some models, including S22+, which is what I am looking at now. They'll throw in an additional year of security patches . Ok, I am late to this party.
Apple offers 5 to 6 years of security software upgrades to their iPhone. Samsung has beautiful, awesome phones, and more, but this is a racket.
Someone please tell me why I should stay with Samsung?
So, I went on a rant about these limited security updates, which after they awhile they force customers to buy new phones when they expire. I am actually on the fence between purchasing another Samsung or going back to Apple iPhone. Unbelievable.
Like Samsung, Apple is all over the world too. In fact, I think the have a larger market share, or arguably the largest market share in smartphones.
I'm.am avid Samsung user and I love all of my Samsung devices plus I'm upgrading to the newest Samsung Ultra S2 cellphone and I've already purchased the newest Samsung Tab tablet. If you have been either reading or listening to the lateseset news about how awesome the newest Samsung devices plus Samsung's newest devices are compatible town the Apple iPhone 14's camera and so much more. Now that I own the newest Samsung devices I can tell the world how amazed I am on the latest technogy Samsung has contributed to the world today
