Why isn't my emojis updated with the system update

My emojis never get updated 

I have Samsung galaxy s9 

How can I get this updated version

Unicode 14 was suppsed to come with one ui 4.0 but never happened 🙃

Yeah, they seem to update emojis though the system update. Seems like they could just update the keyboard instead, it's frustrating

S9 is no longer receiving software updates
I believe it's still receiving security updates but it's certainly on its last legs

I believe May is the last month that the S9 got security updates. But the galaxy s9's software version stops at one UI 2.5 and can be updated higher. The latest version is 4.1.

I'm sorry, but you can't update the phone any more. You'll need a newer phone if you want newer software.
