I think i found soulution but temporary.
I connect to wifi through wps by forgeti g the network first. If after a day through wps is playing up again than by password and it works but day max for now. Will have to swith like that i guesss...

@userpSFSooJL48 & @useryVC0c8XNUW Have you tried putting the device into Safe Mode? Safe Mode disables all 3rd party applications and helps us determine if the issue is caused by an app misbehaving or software. If you haven't, please follow the steps in this link to place the device in safe mode for 24 hours: http://bit.ly/1vkcs06 and attempt to make a WiFi connection during this time to see if there are any changes to the data consumption.
I just want to add my name to the fray, this is rediculous, I have been dealing with this for months, happened right after an update, been hoping a new update would fix it, I guess samsung doesn't care about their customers, thinking of switching carriers, might as well switch phone brand at the same time! !
I also have had this problem for months and think it is extremely shady! I have tried every possible fix and NOTHING has worked!! I will no longer purchase ANY Samsung product again!!!!!
