Galaxy S PhonesI have a Galaxy S9. I system updated yesterday and now when I download images and files I cannot locate them. they use to go into my image library or in my download file. But not now. I get the notification from download manager that they are complete and i can open them from the top bar on my phone but I cannot do anything with this but view for 1 time. I do not know where my downlaods are going now and I cannot find them in any file. Did something in my system get unchecked or deleted in my system update?

In Case others have this issue. I was on a call with tech support for well over an hour trying to resolve this issue. Restore apps to default settings will clear this issue.

Can you be more specific on how to do that? Is it global, restoring ALL apps to default settings? Where do you go for that? I also read that you need to set permissions on Chrome to allow storage, but it was already enabled. I also checked this on the gallery app and it was ALSO enabled.

THANKS!!!
That solved for me!!!
In case it works out for others, here is it:
Apps > Google > Permissions > Storage - Enabled
Man, I was very frustrated for such a powerful device with such dull issue.
Cheers

Galaxy S PhonesThis solution is what worked on my Galaxy S9+. The other solution listed above this one did not work for me. Thanks for taking the time to figure this out.

Galaxy S PhonesNone of this worked for me.
The problem is Google. For some reason when you use the search and download from it, it acts like it downloads and goes nowhere. But simple solution!!
Just use your regular internet browser! I jumped on that, entered Google and the same search I was looking for. Downloaded the same thing and it showed up right in my regular download file in my photo album in seconds.
Don't use Google search, use your internet browser 😉
