Ever since the software update happened there has been an ongoing issues with the phone. I have  Gslsxy S10 and some of the issues are adaptive brightness simply stops working even though turned on. Auto rotation stops working even though turned on. Other settings simply stop working. The only way to get them working is to restart the phone. This all started when it was upgraded to Android 11.
This is most annoying and I wish it was never updated.

Yeah same here. Certain apps cause it to stop rotating, I think youtube is the main cause for me. It's been going on for way too long now, how hard can it be to fix an auto-rotate bug?

Have you attempted to wipe the system cache partition since the recent update?

  1. Turn off the device.
  2. Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby key, then press and hold the Power key.
  3. When the Android logo displays, release all three keys.
  4. An 'Installing system update' message will show for 30 - 60 seconds before the Android system recovery menu options appear.
  5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
  6. Press the Power key to select.
  7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them, and press the Power key to select.
  8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, the Reboot system now is highlighted.
  9. Press the Power key to restart the device.

Thanks but that hasn't helped.

My pop out video viewer is now broken too. The video is magnetized toward the cancel x at the bottom. At best it sticks to the bottom of the screen, but if I open another app the viewer disappears beneath the screen.

Seems like Samsung is having some difficulty checking for bugs
