Hello there, @usera4ze29UMrD.

Let's try a few steps to try and fix this up for you.

  1. From the Home Screen select the Apps icon
  2. Select the Settings icon
  3. Navigate to and select Applications/Application Manager
  4. Touch Google app
  5. Touch the menu icon, then Uninstall updates

You may also want to make sure your stock messages app is fully updated.

There is no option to Uninstall updates. I checked my play store and all my apps are up to date.

usera4ze29UMrD,
I would like to help resolve this for you. Can you answer the following questions?
1.Does this message display only when attempting to use this application, or does it display when the application is not being actively used?
2.If the message is displayed only when the app is in use, is it intermittently displaying or consistently displaying?
3.What action are you taking within the application when you see this message?
4.What happens in testing after the application is force stopped?
5.What happens in testing with the device in Safe Mode?
6.What happens in testing after FDR with no applications reloaded?

The error occurs in the messages app that came Standard on my phone. Not in any messages app that I downloaded. I had a software update a few days ago, thought that might fix the problem, but it didn't.

Try these two steps one more time, since they might help after that update went through:

  1. Clear phone cache. Instructions are here.
  2. Clear Application cache and sometime Application data. Instructions are here.

The error appears when the messages app is open only. I tried safe mode and it still gives me the error. I am talking about the messages app that comes standard on the phone. I have since downloaded Google messages so I can text. I also Uninstalled Google updates like previous post says to try and it still gives me an error!
