reset password on pc can't login to account on phone

I reset my password on the PC and was notified that I needed to add a new Samsung Account to my phone. When I go to Manage Accounts and add account I receive info that I already have a Samsung account and cant add another - I see no way to delete that account. I need to backup my phone and have to be logged in to the account to be able to restore any backup. Any suggestions.
