Then your phone won't qualify for this beta.  If you would be running unlocked model, but it seems that you have ATT branded model

@chartak its an unlocked device, purchased from Samsung with an att sim card in it. I don't understand how that would make it att branded

Because in the initial post you mentioned this "SMg973u model".  If you do have unlocked model, then it is eligible
