Authentication error occured (wifi)

So randomly my phone (S10 Verizon) has been doing this 'authentication error occured' and disconnects my wifi and then reconnects. It is not my wifi, I've looked for all solutions, I've reset network settings and tried seeing if it was my router. Am I the only person experiencing this?

No not just you. S10, exact same problem. It's driving me nuts.

Hearing I'm not alone starts to confirm my suspision this is due to a software update? I've had the phone since launch and it had been fine!

Re: Authentication error occured (wifi)

I think I've got to the bottom of this (for me).

I use Ubiquiti wifi, found a setting 'force high performance clients to 5Ghz'. Assume this relates the AC capable devices, I don't know how far this goes but obviously at least Samsungs aren't dealing with this well.

I turned the tick box off and so far no disconnects of authentication errors.
