Black circle in screen

Looks like a software problem to me

It is the front camera ....turn you camera on and the place your finger over the dot and you will see the view of the camera turns black from being covered by your finger

I got rid of the black dot by following the instructions. I have a Samsung A21... Hi, to hide the cut out for front camera, you go into settings, then into the display, scroll down to and enter full-screen apps, then tap the button on to the right of the screen and enter the advance setting and toggle off-camera cut out.
