After the latest update, february, I am facing a noticable bluetooth audio quality drop, in both my car and galaxy buds. I have tried some of the suggestions online, but not luck. Samsung, when you update your devices, you are not supposed to break things. I stopped streaming music all together.
Solved! Go to Solution.
UPDATE: after the latest update for "device media" from the galaxy store, you have to turn off the adapt sound. This will fix the issue, but you wil not be abe to use your adapt sound profile.
Conclusion: adapt sound is broke after february security update
Came for the same.
Mine got updated overnight (Unlocked S10+/ Germany) and I noticed a lot of audio compression/ quality lost while playing some music from Spotify. At first I thought Spotify settings changed, but they are set as High Quality. After that I tried streaming music from my NAS and the quality is also really bad. Tweaking the equaliser doesn't seem to work that well.
Up until yesterday it was fine. Headphones are ok, because I'm using them with my Mac and the quality is good as usual (JBL)
I can confirm this is BT only.
Using the same JBL headphones, but with the 3.5mm jack. Same settings as usual:
- Equaliser : Normal
- Dolby Atmos: ON- Auto
Quality is good, same as usual, or at least until yesterday.
Pretty annoying having to carry the cable in order to listen to my music with a decent quality
