Bluetooth problems after last update

I have a Galaxy S10+ which received an update 2 days ago. a have a pair of Phonak Marvel 90 hearing aids which are bluetooth compatible.  They worked fine when connecting with bluetooth for calls and media until the recent update.  Now it will not maintain a connection with the hearing aids or I can hear a  phone conversation but caller can't hear me.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Your audi couldn't find the setting?   What model HAs do you have?  When I connect my M-90's to the Phonak Target software and open a session: under "Bluetooth" there is a choice for Fixed vs Adaptive.

Assuming this is a bug with the software, there isn’t much you could do. There are ways to downgrade but this forum really isn’t the place to talk about those. I would try a factory reset as that seems to fix most issues. Otherwise you would have to wait for the next update which should be relatively soon.

I have the same problem and have hearing aids that are connected to my S10. I get good audio from most sources but for some reason I don't get audio notifications. I have all the notification Switches turned on. When I select an audio notification I can hear it just fine. When somebody text me I can't hear it and I have to look more often than I'd like to just to see whether or not I've gotten A message.

How long have you had the hearing aids and has the software been updated on the hearing aids recently?

I actually go tomorrow to the audiologist.  I'm hearing there are firmware updates for the Phonak's that I have. I'll post back if that solves the problem.  They are working intermittently.

My hearing aids did have a firmware update that was installed today.  However, this didn't do anything for the connectivity problem that happened after the last update on my Samsung S10+.  It does work intermittently but I usually have to disconnect then connect the bluetooth for the hearing aids for it to work.  Most of the time when it goes bad I can hear the other party but they can't hear me.  All of the other blueltooth fuctions with the hearing works great with no problems.  All streaming thru the phone works including my Dish receiver, Roku, and Amazon Echo.

This leads me to believe it's the last Samsung update that causes the problem with the phone connection with the hearing aids.

Hopefully the next phone upgrade will fix the problem.

So what are the specialists saying might be the cause and more important is there a fix.
