Galaxy S10 plus Fingerprint Scanner Not Responding

My fingerprint scanner has completely stopped responding. I tried deleting the fingerprints I had saved and re-adding. However, it won't register fingerprints at all. It just says to press harder. I've pressed as hard as I can. I have tried different fingers. I've removed the screen saver. I've cleaned the screen. Still nothing. 

 

I have literally spent hours trying to fix this problem and I'm getting VERY annoyed. 

 

I didnt spend this much money to get a phone that won't pick up fingerprints. 

 

I've always had iPhones and have never had a problem with the sensor on any of the phones I have had. 

 

This time, I took a chance and went Samsung. My mistake, I guess. Lesson learned.

If it still doesn't work after troubleshooting, then repairs are recommended. You do have a few options for this. The first option is to speak with your carrier as they may have options for you that Samsung cannot offer. Second, you can visit your local uBreakiFix for walk-in service repairs. uBreakiFix is an authorized service center for Samsung capable of completing both in and out of warranty repairs. The final option is a ship-in service repair through Samsung. Total process can take up to 9/11 business days including shipment and repair, Samsung does cover the cost of shipping for you. Try soft reset, Power + Volume down until the phone restarts.  Tried it earlier on someone having the issue and it worked for them.
