I usually use my fingerprint or face recognition or pattern to unlock my s10. On xmas day, I got the samsung fit2 and connected it to my phone. a few hours later, something bizarre happened and I tried to unlock my phone and it asked for my character password. The face recognition, pattern and fingerprint stopped for some reason nd only just asked me for the character password. For some reason, I can't get that password correct! There is no option for 'forgot my password' so i am stuck!
I attempted to go via my samsung account and unlock remotely but this function has been disabled for me as my phone settings didn't allow such an option to be authorised in the first place :(
I really don't want to have to reset my phone and lose all my data!
Yep, I can't use biometrics anymore on my Note 9 after recent updates. Fortunately I had a password. You'll probably have to wipe it clean and it probably biometrics will still NOT wor because it still did not work for me after the wipe.
