No settings in Wearables App / Galaxy Buds?

For some reason, I'm not allowed to progress through the Galaxy Wearables app settings (press+hold, ambient settings etc.) after the initial Galaxy Buds setup. After the "Congrats" page, then the brief tutorial tips and the "You're all set" is pressed, it goes back to the "Congrats" page again.

 

I did manage to update tothe firmware for the Buds via the desktop manager, the buds connect correctly (all be it they're very quiet) but it's like the app is broken? 

 

I've uninstalled and re-installed the Wearables app and restarted the phone numerous times. 

 

Anyone experience anyrthing similar?

Have you updated the phone, watch, and wearables app?
