This is nothing do with sprint, read the forum before assuming it is, Verizon/tmobile/att/sprint all have issue, if ur phone is working, great! Alot of us phone is not working, where updates can't fix it. It is not signal issue, we are getting full bar with LTE, and voice and data drop issue. Where internet can't connect, where during a call it drop and also bad sounding voice call. And again ppl r having full signal while all this is happening.
I finally wised up and left Sprint and I've never been happier and I have no more dropped calls or waiting for Internet to speed up it's already perfect..Verizon is the way to go after being on Sprint for years
I've had Sprint since 2001 and I've always had friends with better signal on Verizon at certain places we were at we had no signal and they did. We bought unlocked noye 8s so we could switch but we never did. I think it was expensive and I was on and I will grandfathered plan with the work discount for Sprint so we stayed cuz we're mostly on Wi-Fi anyway. Even my 9 plus was better than the 10 plus I just got but anyway we've been having problems with our phones and we just switched to Verizon last Saturday but we're still having some LTE issues and they're saying it's because we still have Sprint software on our phones. don't know if that's true but going to go take it somewhere tomorrow and have them reflash software and see if that helps. Cuz Verizon it's better than Sprint where I live. and the other day I couldn't even look something up on my phone standing in line at a store in the lady in front of me was looking up the same thing on her phone and had AT&t with signal and I didn't. This whole mess with the S10 is just crazy and Samsung says they're coming out with an update and they took down my husband's IMEI number. And then I realized my phone's acting up too but his is worse. And sometimes it will say 4G LTE with a couple bars but still won't do anything. And how do I test my signal is when I start speaking a text if it doesn't work and sending pictures little spin and spin. but I don't know I read that it's software I read that it's hard where people are getting motherboards replaced I don't know if Samsung even knows.
I got the 10 plus Black version 128 gig and I will tell you it is so much faster on Verizon than Sprint I even had a hotspot which was a magic cell tower that they're giving out to people that don't have good internet on Sprint and it did not improve the speed or the calls on Sprint so I switched over to Verizon and my phone has been flying ever since on speed and calls I have not had one problem with my phone since it's the best decision I've ever made. I love how you can touch your screen and log into your phone but it was so much easier just to touch the back middle of my old phone and then be inside my phone but I feel like logging in on the screen it's just gimmicky but they awesome feature that they can do it. And the screen is amazing I will not go back to Sprint or any other carrier after being on Verizon.
Have applied all patches and still with all bands on the OTA connectivety issues remain. Only if I disable band 41 and 25 can I stay connected. I dont care where the fault lies (Sprint or Samsung) I am recommending to my wife and all friends in the office not to get this phone...Perhaps that will start to get peoples attention.
Yep, I've turned 6 people off of the phone since I got ours. I updated the software yesterday and I finally have data in about 2/3 the places I should but at maybe 3g speeds half the time. I did yet another factoy reset and it didn't get better and sitting in my office I'm watching my phone kick up roaming messages and losing data. Just not as often.
But I've found the ultimate solution to the S10+ data problems. I spent a lot of time on the phone and chat with both sprint and samsung and finally found the fix. It showed up in the mail just yesterday and best of all it was free.
It's a return label.
So just an update on my situation. I've received my replacement phone from Sprint, the phone is working great. I havent dropped calls, and LTE data is pretty strong. I did do the updates that were sent out and they had no negative effects on the phone. I'm still waiting for a replacement for my second S10+ they're currently on back order.
