i got a brand new one, luckly, ##736# or ##738# cant remember which one, then click view scroll down it tell u refurb yes or no.

good luck. make sure do not use cellular/data/voice/internet till u connect to wifi, and once it set up then update everything, after that u r good, enjoy ur new speed Smiley Tongue

If the official update thread I read is true, the next update lists nothing in connection with improving any of these issues.  It's basically cosmetic fixes without addressing actual functions.

no, suppose the night mode which switzeland first got last week, the problem is hardware, no amount software gonna fix it, they know it, and thats why its been delayed with answer.

I was having the same issue so I called Asurion they sent me a replacement phone that worked for a week and now I'm having connection issues AGAIN...AND NO I HAVEN'T DONE THE UPDATE SEEING THAT IT MESSED MY PHONE UP THE FIRST TIME

i sorry to hear that, i did the update asap when phone came in, i believe is the first update what mess the phone up, but possible is the firmware itself, idk, but knock on wood, so phone performing very well. no issue, i think the battery drain little faster then the first one i got, but not sure.

Just received my phone back from Samsung with the new mainboard. So far LTE works exactly as it should in my area and I have been able to test bands 25 and 41 pretty thoroughly with zero issues. My reconditioned status on the phone is No which I assume is because it is an entirely new mainboard vs a refurbished one. My only two grips are they took my original screen protection off and put on a new one that doesn't cover the corner of the cutout; very annoying. And they didn't even apply it properly as I have air bubbles on all the corners. My other gripe is there is glue all over the bottom. I got the majority of it off but some is just caked on there. At least the phone works as it should.

At least it works, but the sloppiness of their work is disappointing. I'm hoping to get mine back from Samsung this week.

 

Can you tell if the phone has the latest update?

My Unlocked came back with the ASD3 firmware on it and updated to ASD5.
