Hi everybody. I have a problem with my S10.
Yesterday I had an Android Update. About 1.6 gb. A big one.
After I install the update, everything looked good but I had problems when I charged it at night.
I had 5% battery and when I pluged it, the problem Started.
A sign said that there was a problem at the charger or the cable.
Fast charge wasnt working. It said that it would take more than 32 hours for charging :/
I had to turn the cellphone off so the charging time reduced to 6 or 7 hours.
I changed the charger, the cable and I still have the same problem
The cell phone has about 10 months old...I.never had a problem with OS Updates but now I dont know what to do.
Does anybody had any issue with last Operative System update????
Have any of you tried wiping the cache partition or a full factory reset?
Wiping the cache partition will not affect your data:
Power off the device
Press and hold volume up button, Home button and power button
When the screen with No commands message shows up tap on the screen
Use volume keys to highlight wipe cache partition and use the power button to select it
Confirm by selecting yes option
Then select reboot/restart
Yes. Ive alresdy done it. But its the same.
Same problem charging. I have 59% battery left and it says that it will took more than 12 hours to complete charge
And the same message to.check cable, charger, etc.
There may be some growing pains with any update, I've got a Note 10 on Android 10 and haven't experienced the same issues.
I would check some of your 3rd party apps and check on battery usage. Older apps may be using additional resources to run Android 10.
If all else fails, the next step would be to back everything up to Google and Samsung accounts and perform a factory reset but, be aware that since it's a brand new update, there are tons of people working to optimize it and it may just be a waiting game.
