Samsung Pass & Pay fingerprint not recognized, verified in OS

After latest biometrics update I cannot login to Samsung Pass or Samsung Pay using fingerprint BUT I can verify reader is working correctly by going into device options and checking if fingerprint is registered. 

As worst case scenario I can use my pin for Samsung Pay. 

I do not have that option with Samsung Pass. I get 10 chances and have used most attempt to get my fingerprint recognized. I even restarted my phone between attempt.

How can this get fixed?

Re-register my fingerprints?

Prior to update Pass and Pay worked flawlessly.

Go to settings, Biometrics, fingerprints, delete prints, add new prints, then still in Biometrics, open Samsung pay and and pass make sure fingerprints are toggled on, then open each app and follow prompt, should work, that is what I did

Yes I have the same problem, ended up switching to Google Pay

Try forgetting the previous prints and start over.
