@userUvgetE2KFv if you tried safe mode and clear app data maybe the issue is the app you are trying to use secure folder. can you explain further what happen if app you try to put password? did you also try to clear cache on the bootup menu? if you tried all them maybe there's a next update the s10 new update was having a mjor issue on verizon due to this also so maybe it has something to do with June security patch that samsung has changed.
I've tried all that and its been doing it since like a week after the phone came out I have all the updates but no change. What happens is when you click the icon the keypad opens up and ask you for the pin which I put in then after 15 to 20 seconds of sitting there is just closes. Now if I put the wrong pin in on purpose it say wrong pin number so I know I have the right pin. When you go to the apps in the store it just says open there is no uninstall option. If you have any questions please ask I'll answer anything I can.
@userUvgetE2KFv seems like the update has wiped out all stored or mess up the password and you might need to do factory reset but dont take my word for it you may have to wait what samsung has to say about it or their specialist R&D team.
I can't do a reset I'll lose my financial data stored in the folder. I've seen online I'm not the only person with this problem but Samsung hasn't even addressed the problem. It's been 6 months and nothing. 1000 for a phone and this.
Today yet another security update and still nothing. I've been with Samsung since the start of Smartphones but after this I think it's time to turn to Apple at least they fix their problems Samsung won't even admit there is a problem.
