I have a Galaxy S10 (about a month old) with Android 10 and One UI 2.1 installed on it the other day. After the update, I noticed a weird bug where the fingerprint animation is on all the time, even if I toggle this option off in the biometrics settings. Restarting the phone did not solve the problem. Running the phone in safe mode still shows the same issue.
The phone worked perfectly until the One UI 2.1 update and still works fine, with this little exception.
Does anyone have a solution to this?
Thanks in advance!
Thank you for reaching back to me!
I followed your advice with wiping the cache partition and re-adding the fingerprints, but I did not see any changes.
Is there anything else you need to know?
I would recommend testing your device in safe mode. If your phone is misbehaving, it's possible that a third-party app is causing the issue. To figure out what app is acting funny, you can use the Safe Mode feature. In Safe Mode, your phone won't run any third-party apps. This allows you to easily identity and remove the app that may be causing the problem.
