Just replaced my S9 plus that I had for about 3 years, my S20 shows 5G when I can receive it but most of the time it's just receiving / showing LTE in the top right corner of the phone, my S7 and S9 used to show 4G, is this normal.... I've checked the settings and it doesn't have a 4G option just the 3G, LTE, and 5G option? Thanks for any advice.
It is normal but has to do with signal strength. Long-term evolution (LTE) is use to describe faster cellular internet connection after 3G where you can use voice and data at the same time. In some cases, with limited success because of signal strength at the location.
