Allowed my Galaxy to update last night NOW my FACEBOOK MESSAGES NO LONGER WORKS!

Tried to re-update permissions back to normal after all had been disabled after updating. Facebook messages button STILL DOES NOT GO TO MESSAGES.

What's going on...

I use messages to handle FB Market Business and communicate with buyers and sellers.

Please advise AS SOOOON AS POSSIBLE

Finally after loading a 3rd party app to force Uninstaller and clean application cache, and turning off phone... waiting then turning it back on... lastly re-installing Facebook.... MESSENGER NOW WORKS!!!!😃

USER RECOMMENDATION:
1) PLEASE NEVER HARDEN A USERS PHONE LIKE THAT AS PART OF A SAMSUNG UPDATE EVER AGAIN!
I HAVE SEVERAL APPS I HAD TO RE-INSTALL OR SET UP PERMISSIONS ALL OVER, AND SOME I FORGOT WHAT WAS THE CORRECT PERMISSIONS.

Reggie Thomas

Have you tried reinstalling the app? If you've already tried that with no effect, try these steps with the app installed. With the phone off, press + hold power and volume up buttons until the Samsung logo disappears. Using volume keys, highlight Wipe cache partition, and then power to select and confirm. On the original menu, use volume to navigate to Repair apps, and then power again to select. This will reindex all the apps on your device.

Still not working. The recent update reset every single permissions on every single app on my S20... FB app is completely messed up from the update... going to try Uninstaller. NOTE TO SAMSUNG... DON'T MESS WITH Everyone's Permissions...I just want same accesses after an update.
