Duplication of text phrases using voice to text (NOT duplicate texts)

I have a brand new  Galaxy S20 FE, and when I use voice to text, it duplicates almost everything I say.  The following is an example of what I get when I read this paragraph. :

" I have a brand new Galaxy S20FE, and when I use it ecama and when I use voice to text, it duplicates almost every it duplicates almost everything I say. The following is an example of what the following is an example of what I get when I read this paragraph."

This phone was just activated yesterday, new out of the box.  This is useless.  Is there a fix? Is my phone defective?

I just recently started using the Galaxy S20 FE and after  the software update, my voice texting option also  started to duplicate words/phrases .  This was immediate annoyance and I have been searching online to no avail to fix this problem.

sepuzzle, thank you very much for your post.  This solved the duplicate voice texting issue right away.  I can now text normally without duplicate words/phrases.

I'm having the same issue on my S9. I do not want to use G board. I've read that I've read that it doesn't work for everyone anyway. For everyone anyway. They still have the issue. Yes you. As you can see. I did not say yes you. I saw this issue happened back in 2017 in 2017. Started for me just a few days ago, 2 days ago, and my friend has the same issue, name issue, started the same day.

The same thing is happening to me. I tried changing from Samsung tried changing from Samsung to Google talk to text and it is still occurring. And it is still occurring. I also did the update hoping that it would not the update hoping that it would not continue to duplicate my test continue to duplicate my text to talk but it is still happening.

Just asking. Did you also go into General management> Keyboard list and default and verify Google Voice typing and Samsung voice input were NOT both turned on? That was key to me solving this problem on my phone.

Just followed see puzzle advice, went into General management oh, sure enough both were selected. Deselected Samsung voice text. Send text via voice no issue thus far. Will keep posted.
