Edge lighting no longer available

I have always had edge lighting active kn my phone as part of my notifications. Noticed today that the edge wasn't lighting up when I got messages and now the edge screen isn't available in my settings where it always has been under edge panels. 

Just wondering if anyone can help me.

Okay, but what if we want to have edge lighting for detailed pop-ups?  Because the edge lighting no longer works for detailed pop-ups
