Edge screen widgets color/transparency change?

How can I change color /transparency of Edge Screen widgets to create greater contrast. I am legally blind. The Android 12 update made the widgets very pale with no contrast with the folder background. What was a very useful tool is now very difficult to use.

I've combed through themes. They're too busy. I need something simple and high contrast that will be easy to see.

Two updates later, the contrast inside the folders between the contact widgets and the background is still unchanged. I still can't see the widgets. This is probably OK for a normally sighted person but not for someone who is visually impaire

The Notifications pull-down is improved. The transparency is gone.

The outline font is still being used in several areas. It's unreadable.

there should be accessibility setting to improve contrast. Try applying "High Contrast Theme"
