The FM radio is disabled on the US unlocked firmware. It is enabled on the US carrier models. Please enable it for unlocked users.

According to the message it is the carrier's fault. Samsung is not the one that disabled it.

Yes, it is available in unlocked S10 and it should be available in the S20 as well. The FCC would like all cell phones in the US to have the FM receiver available for emergency reasons: https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-fcc-apple/fcc-says-apple-should-activate-iphones-fm-radio-chi...

Glad I found this thread. There's really no excuse for it to be LOCKED on an UNLOCKED phone. :(

@Struff

Yes, I confirm it works on my unlocked T-Mobile S10e.

You need to plug in wired earphones to act as FM antenna, and get an app like NextRadio and tune to an FM frequency:

Radio FM app doesn't work either for you?

That requires cell phone signal and a data plan. While I usually have each, there are many places in the mountains where there's no cell phone signal but FM radio works fine. Also, Radio FM app doesn't include all stations.
