For about three weeks my S20 Ultra has randomly and periodically failed to connect to Android Auto via USB, won't consistently Super Fast Charge, disconnects from charging in the middle of the night leaving me with less than a third of battery, and won't connect to my computer via USB to transfer files. I thought it might be a hardware issue with my USB-C port but I can't be sure. There is a lot of data pointing to a possible software issue. I would like to speak with a Samsung Customer Service Rep as this phone was purchased in late May 2020 and is just outside "manufacturers warranty" but should not be in this state after only 14 months. have you tried it with a different cable? clear cache and data for android auto?
submit an error report on samsung members app > + button > error report if you think it's a software issue
