Galaxy S20I have reviewed the previous topic related to the s20 and Uconnect. Nothing in that feed resolved my issue.
History, my S20Ultra5g connected and was working fine on my 2015 Dodge Charger Uconnect system. Then one day it just stopped. (about 2 months ago).
I can connect my older s10, and my sons s20 Ultra, my wife's and daughters Iphone plus a friends LG.
The problem with my s20 is I can connect for messages, phone calls and media. The phone calls and messages work with no issue.
When I attempt to do media and listen to anything from my s20 to Uconnect system. I get nothing, no sound. When I toggle the audio setting in Bluetooth on the S20, it will go from appearing connected to asking me to connect a blue tooth device on the Uconnect Screen. I have confirmed audio is all the way up, I have removed all other paired items from the uconnect screen. I have done a system reset on my phone, I just did the blue tooth reset, cleared data and cache. Nothing.
This is very frustrating. I have gone to using a old crappy LG phone to listen to my audio books and music while in the car. I do not want to to do this any longer.
PlEASE HELP.

It's your uconnect. It's not your phone. Trust me man I've been through this already and I did all of the troubleshooting for you except mine was on a 2015 Dodge ram special edition the orange with the black stripes. You have to completely reset the Uconnect. I don't know the button combination on a charger so you're going to have to Google that but there it will be a button combination on the radio itself that you're going to have to do to get into the manufacturers menu like the dealer menu and from there you have to basically factory reset your uconnect system. Mine was absolutely bonkers like I had to have my seatbelt on and take it off and put it on three times within 5 seconds then push and hold the seat heater button and the source button on the radio until the truck horn beeped three times Then I had to press the brake pedal twice within 3 seconds and finally the dealer menu came up. Dodges absolutely out of their minds to make that kind of procedure to allow use of the dealer menu which lets you do nothing of any value aside from getting it to work again with your phone. My S22 Ultra worked perfectly fine for a long time with it and out of nowhere I had the exact same issue as you where it would connect but not fully connect and let me use all of the features that I used to have like streaming music or anything like that I think I was able to still do phone calls but everything else was dead no matter what I did. That's when I found out about the dealer menu and being able to completely put the uconnect system back to its dealership settings like it just rolled off the dealership floor and everything will work fine again after that so just Google how to get into the uconnect dealer menu on your charger and you'll be all right once you perform the full reset. Be aware there are settings in the menu that will get you in trouble like you could permanently disable certain features of your uconnect and then you're in some deep so follow the instructions very carefully and do not get curious and start hitting other options to see what they do because you will end up with no head unit at all and Dodge will charge you well in excess of $1,000 to replace the uconnect system

Galaxy S20A much simpler option but one that did not work for me is they also say you can unplug the negative terminal of the battery and leave it off for a couple of hours and drain all the residual power from the car then reconnect the negative terminal and that is like a soft reset of the system it doesn't delete your settings or anything and it's possible that it could fix your problem but I do doubt it since we have the exact same year vehicle with the exact same issue and it didn't fix mine but that doesn't mean it won't fix yours You do have a challenger while I have a RAM 1500 so you could have a different version of Uconnect and that simple solution may work for you so maybe try that first if you want or you could just go right to dealer mode and just get it over with and factory reset your whole system. It sucks because the reset is kind of at the bottom of all of the menu options so you have to carefully scroll through without accidentally tapping one of the other options because we both know you connect sucked in that year and a touch screen is horrible so I recommend using the tuner knob instead of scrolling using your finger so you don't accidentally press something You can turn the tuning knob for the radio to actually scroll up and down and then press the middle button on the tuner knob to select that option so use that to scroll down till you see the reset and then hit the select button on the tuner knob to select reset

Galaxy S20Thanks for the replies pumpkin. I found out how to get to the reset radio feature in the manufacturer menu. I just wanted to confirm before I do that, will I lose my navigation upgrades?
